On Saturday I took a lovely trip to Lamma Island, another of Hong Kong's smaller islands. Another wonderful Anski-arranged trip, our group departed on the ferry and started to walk around the island, going on little mini hike up the mountain. It was very pretty, although polluted, and the power plant was a major landmark. We definitely worked up a sweat, and an appetite, so we went to get Indian food that was quite good with our group. It was a fun group, I met a few new people and got to know some people better. We walked around the little village part a bit, lots of restaurants with a seaview and pretty touristy. We then finally headed to the beach, and with a lovely view of the powerplant nearby, swam around in the salty water. Of course we played Marco Polo, which was funny because we had to explain the rules to the non-Americans. Best moment ever, Juho's response to our explanation: "So you basically close your eyes and try to touch people?" yes, yes you do. It's a fun water game. Anyways, we had a blast swimming and floating and turning into prunes. Then we walked around a bit and headed back to find a restaurant with the desired seaview to eat dinner. Headed home after that. I was pretty tired but how could I complain about 2 beach days in a row?
