So the Monday after my trip I had two exams, which was kinda rough. All of us exchange students pretty much experienced the oh crap, I have midterms after reading week and I haven't really done as much as I should have to study. I did more work than usual this week, but honestly it wasn't that bad (esp not compared to what a rough work week would be at bryn mawr). Really I'm here to learn a lot about China, Hong Kong, and Asia, and so I'm not stressing over grades too much, and I've already learned so much. So Monday-Thursday basically tried to do a fair amount of work. Thursday night of course, ended up at Fevar, the usual club. Everyone was there, even more so than usual, it had a pretty crazy vibe, probably due to post midterm celebrations. Friday I did some more work, ended up eating dinner at a fairly expensive, fairly decent Mexican restaurant in SoHo. It was a really random night of sort of wandering, out til 5 doing...I don't even know. But it was fun hanging out with people. Saturday I was hoping to get work done but honestly...wasn't as productive as I hoped. Went to Korean barbecue with a big group, which was fun. It's a buffet and you cook your own food, quite delicious, and of course we stuffed ourselves since it was a buffet.
Which brings me to today. I have a midterm tomorrow and a project/paper due Tuesday. A bit rough, and clearly I'm procrastinating. But after that I'll be good to go pretty much, which is good because Wed is Halloween, Thurs is my tram party, and Friday is another exchange party. So just gotta make it through the next couple days and then can party it up this week.
