Friday night I grabbed some pizza with Justin, Remco and Graham and then watched some stupid Youtube videos, always a good time. After that I headed to Wan Chai, a bunch of HKUers were congragating at a bar there for Dave's birthday. A group of us split off to look for a club and ended up at Carnegie's, which contained a few old people but an amazing DJ, who played great oldies and pop hits, including the Spice Girls and the Macarena, pretty fantastic. We basically took over and started dancing on the bar, it was sooo fun. Then a few of us ended up at this Australian bar...more loud obnoxious singing and a fishbowl of alcohol were involved. I headed home around 5. Saturday I woke up to go get dim sum with Cindy and Claudia at a traditional style dim sum place. It was loud and not too fancy, you had to find your own seats by judging who was gonna leave and pouncing, and then grab your food off the cart. It was really yummy and filling, and we met this old man who was a local. He spoke really good English and talked with us about Hong Kong and stuff, it was really interesting and cool. Then we headed to Olympic mall to shop. I bought a dress and shoes (featured in my facebook album, chinese banquet), and then we went to see Lust, Caution. It was really good, beautifully filmed and very intense. I recommend it. Plus part of it was filmed at HKU which was cool, I was like hey that's where I go to class every day. All in all a productive and fun day, really cool. One of those days that makes me say wow, I'm glad I came to Hong Kong.
