Tram Party!!

11-1-07: Since a bunch of us had our birthdays over/close to the reading week, we decided to celebrate after, and the soonest date that seemed to work out was Nov 1st. So Jo, Asher, and I planned to rent a tram and invited our friends to bring drinks and join up. As it turned out, November 1st was the first chilly day in Hong Kong so far, it was actually quite windy. I began to worry because some people backed out that we wouldn't have enough, but we got a few joiners so we had a good sized group. Us kids who live at Sassoon met up and shivered together and then crammed into a minibus (illegally 4 in a two person seat) and met up everyone else, then walked to the tram depot. The tram was pretty cool, all wooden and pretty looking. It went to Causeway Bay and circled around, about a 2 hour ride. We hung out at the top and drank and waved at the locals below (ni hao!), who looked at us like we were crazy. It was a great group, tons of fun! I really love these kids, so glad I have these friends! We got off around Central and most of us walked to LKF. We just hung out in Club 97 because it's free, and we had a great time just dancing and trying to avoid all the creepers that hang out there. Turned out to be a great way to celebrate my 21st belatedly!! ;-)
