Mong Kok

Saturday Sept 8th- Today I slept in a bit, and then Amber, Remco, Justin and I decided to go to Mongkok to go shop. It’s just tons of markets with cheap stuff and you can bargain there. It was fun, I bought some earrings (about $1 American each), a swimsuit (which was less than 10 bucks American). Sadly we didn’t have time to make it to Central to buy some cheap costumes, which Justin wants to buy to wear around random places. Justin is kind of like Eric in that he is crazy, haha I love it. It was pretty cool, I still wanna go back to the night market though, which is open until midnight. HK never stops, it’s awesome. Ooo we got some street food and I finally got some bubble tea here, it was really good. I am not sure if I’m going out tonight, I’m pretty tired. I haven’t even been half as busy as some people who have been out every night and went to Macau and all of that. But I do eventually have to do some work…I do have books and readings and hw to do. Blech. I guess that’s to be expected. But I can’t believe some people are so ready to travel already, I feel like I’ve barely explored HK! I still need to go to Kowloon, The Peak, SoHo, TST, Lan Tau...ahhh..
